Nagyon szeretem a könyveket, és nem vagyok egyedül. Amikor azokkal az olasz, vagy amerikai barátaimmal beszélek, akiknek volt lehetősége Magyarországon magánlakásokokat látogatni, mindig észreveszik, hogy mennyi könyv van a polcokon. Sokszor beszélek azokról a könyvekről amiket olvastam, halgatom, hogy mit ajánlanak nekem mások. Interneten természetesen Amazon.com az úr ha arról van szó, hogy könyvet vegyél, de nem voltam soha megelégedve azokkal a lehetőségekkel, amiket a saját könyveim redszerezésére adott.
LibraryThing lehetővé teszi nem csak azt, hogy gyorsan felvidd a könyveidet, akár már létező katalógusból is, hanem legfontosabban segít új könyvek felfedezésére és más felhasználóval való találkozásra. Magyarul is lehet használni! Alapítottam egy csoportot, ami összekapcsolja a magyar felhasználókat, illetve azokat akiket érdekel a magyar kultúra és több mint 8000 könyv van már a csoportban összesen.

Iratkozz be te is! Egyszerű és ingyen van: utána mondd meg nekem is, így látni fogom a könyveidet és melyiket szereted.
Miért pont ezzel? (Hiszen egyelőre meg se halgattam a számokat az eredetín kívül, tehát nem is tudom, hogy nekem tetszenének-e…) Mert fontos, hogy minél többen megtudjanak arról a szabadságról, és arról a lehetőségről, amit a Creative Commons jelent.
A Creative Commons egy a szerző által a mű mellé adott jognyilatkozat
(licenc), melyben a szerző meghatározhatja, hogy mások (a mű
felhasználói) mit tehetnek szabadon a művel, és milyen felhasználások
esetében kell a szerzőhöz fordulni engedélyért.
Ez a blog is egy Creative Commons licenc alapján van kiadva, tehát “Some Rights Reserved”: majdnem azt csinálhatod vele, amit akarsz.
